Bot access test

Your robots.txt can say yes while a firewall says no. We open your page as a normal browser and as each key AI bot, and flag blocks, rate limits, challenge pages and differences.

  • Free, no sign-up
  • Up to 40 seconds
  • We do not keep the pages we read
Your home page works best. You can also test a product or service page.

Now see if the assistants name you

A page the bots can open is the start. The free check asks AI assistants the questions your buyers ask and shows who is named, and who is named instead of you.

Run the free check

Next tool: Raw HTML check — Shows what a page says before any JavaScript runs: title, heading, description, text, prices and contact details.

Questions people ask

My robots.txt allows every bot. Why would one be turned away?

robots.txt is a polite request. A firewall, CDN or security plugin acts before it, and many are set to challenge or block anything that looks like a bot, including the ones you want.

What is a challenge page?

A page that asks the visitor to prove they are human, with a puzzle or a "checking your browser" wait. A person can pass it. A bot cannot, so it sees the puzzle instead of your page.

Why do you test with a browser as well?

To have something to compare with. If a browser gets in and a bot does not, the difference points at a rule that targets bots. If the browser is turned away too, the whole site may be behind a stricter shield.
