Our first open study is in progress
We are studying how AI assistants recommend businesses to buyers. When it is done, everything behind it will be public: the prompts, the raw answers and the code version.
How we will publish
Open enough to check, and to repeat
A finding you cannot check is just a claim. So each study will come with what you need to check it, or run it again yourself.
Every prompt
The exact questions, word for word, with the settings used: country, web search, and how many times each was asked.
The raw answers
Every answer in full, with its citations, the model that gave it and the date. Businesses named in them are named by the AI, not by us.
The code version
The version of our code and of the methodology that produced the numbers, so any result can be traced back to how it was made.
Margins of error and limits
Every rate with its range, and a plain list of what the study cannot tell you. If we find a mistake after publishing, we correct it openly.
